The soul of a painting should take precedence over its technical correctness. Armed with a set of acquired technical skills, an artist sets forth to create his imaginary world from the recess of his psyche.

I paint surreal landscapes, calling upon childhood memories, recurrent dreams/nightmares, human interactions and pressing world issues for inspiration. My artwork is an amalgamation of nostalgic reminiscences, personal convictions and creative explorations.

My medium of choice is Acrylic. Heavily gelled and carved images scraped over textured backgrounds characterize my work. A brilliant palette with contrasting light and dark values is also a distinctive trademark. My compositions are landscape-based: drawing viewers into fields of fantasy, where whimsical icons are enmeshed in illogical occurrences.

I am a storyteller, embarking on an odyssey through the aesthetic wilderness, longing for a breakthrough among the clouds.
